· Set-Up Charges
Camera-Ready: No set-up charge if artwork can be used "as is" (i.e., it is already in a round format or it is large enough that it can be cropped without further adjustments)

· Add text only: $10/image

· Adjust shape: $20/image (i.e., if image is too small to be cropped and background has to be added or removed to accommodate cookie shape)

· Adjust background $20/image (i.e., if background needs to be lightened or modified in any way)

 

· Artwork Specifications
In order to get the best results, we require camera-ready artwork such as an original photo, drawing or letterhead on a WHITE BACKGROUND.

· BUSY OR DARK BACKGROUNDS WILL AFFECT THE CLARITY AND OVERALL QUALITY OF THE FINAL PRODUCT. IF YOUR PHOTO HAS A DARK BACKGROUND, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND LETTING US LIGHTEN IT FOR YOU FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.)

· Images of people should be CLOSE-UP and should focus on the face; FULL-BODY SHOTS DO NOT SHOW UP WELL AND THE IMAGE WILL NOT BE CLEAR.

· Sorry- we cannot print black & white or monotone photos on cakes.

· Images are printed with food color- this is not a PMS process and it is not possible to offer color-matching.

Photos and graphics can be submitted in a JPEG format (minimum 300 dpi) to images@theicingcakes.com.

 

Cancellation Charges
The Icing requires a credit card deposit on all custom orders. The Icing reserves the right to charge a customer's card for the full amount of the order in the event that the order is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance. If more than 48 hours' notice is given, customer is responsible for all costs which may have been incurred prior to cancellation, including set-up charges.

*Copyright and Trademark Use
All material submitted by customer for use by The Icing will be accepted as being submitted in full compliance with applicable intellectual property laws. Customer agrees to hold The Icing  harmless for any damages, costs, and/or other expenses when they arise under such laws as a consequence of The Icing’s use of customer's submitted materials.
